The Twitch from SOG features a pass-through lockbar from which the “kick” or blade flipper sticks through. Pressing the kick/flipper initiates the opening of the blade. SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.) then takes over to finish opening and to securely lock the blade open. The Twitch has a built-in safety that either locks the blade closed or can double lock the blade open.
The handle is solid copper on steel liners. The AUS 8 stainless steel blade has a plain edge with an ambidextrous thumb stud. The tip-up clip makes pocket carry convenient.
